The wet strength agent AD-P201 produced by our company is a polyamide epichlorohydrin polymer (PAE), which is a water-soluble, cationic, thermosetting resin. This product is non-toxic, odorless, and can quickly bond with pulp fibers. It undergoes a thermosetting reaction in the drying section of the paper machine and during storage, forming strong chemical bonds that significantly enhance the dry and wet strength properties required for paper.
Product Introduction
The paper wet strength agent AD-P201 produced by our company is a polyamide epichlorohydrin polymer (PAE), which is a water-soluble, cationic, thermosetting resin. This product is non-toxic, odorless, and can quickly bond with pulp fibers. It undergoes a thermosetting reaction in the drying section of the paper machine and during storage, forming strong chemical bonds that significantly enhance the dry and wet strength properties required for paper.
This product is suitable for various types of paper that require wet strength performance, including household paper, fruit bag paper, decorative base paper, food packaging paper, photographic base paper, coated base paper, and map paper.
Technical IndexAppearance: Light yellow or amber viscous liquid pH Value: 2.0-5.5 Solid Content: 12.5±0.5% Viscosity: 20—80 mpa.s (25℃) Ionic Type: Cationic Dispersibility: Easily dispersible in cold water
Performance Characteristics
→ This product can function effectively over a wide pH range, with the optimal pH range being 6-9;
→ This product is a reactive paper additive, and the wet strength of the paper usually reaches its maximum after a curing period of more than one week after leaving the machine;
→ There is a significant retention and filtration aid effect during the paper-making process, and the clarity of the white water is significantly improved;
→ It has a synergistic effect with AKD, which can reduce the amount of AKD used.
Usage and Dosage
→ The amount of this product added is determined by the requirements for paper wet strength, generally 5-80 kg per ton of paper;
→ When using, dilute with water 5-10 times, and try to add it to the concentrated pulp. After confirming that it is mixed evenly with the pulp, it can be used for paper making. It can also be continuously added at the pulping box or mixing box using a metering pump;
→ This product has a relatively strong cationic nature, so avoid mixing with anionic chemicals, and the addition points should be separate.
Packaging and Storage
→ Packaged in plastic barrels of 200 kg—1000 kg;
→ Store in a cool, ventilated place, avoiding freezing and exposure to sunlight;
→ The shelf life at room temperature in a sealed condition is 2 months.
Safety and Protection
