Application examples of resin barrier control agent SC-1600
Author:
SC-1600 is a dual-gender polymer that has the function of emulsifying, dispersing, and fixing organic insoluble substances in commercial wood pulp, making its surface hydrophilic. This prevents organic insoluble particles from colliding and agglomerating into larger resin particles in the pulping and papermaking system, forming resin barriers that can contaminate papermaking equipment, affecting the production process and the quality of the paper produced.
Application One
In the pulping system, replacing ultra-fine talc powder with SC-1600 not only reduces the ash content in the pulp but also lowers the resin barriers in the papermaking process, improving the quality of the pulp.
Application Two
In the process of producing sanitary paper and thin paper from commercial wood pulp, adding 0.4~0.6kg of SC-1600 to the thick pulp section will greatly reduce resin deposits in equipment such as pulp delivery pipes, storage tanks, papermaking wire blankets, and drying cylinders, extending the cleaning cycle of the paper machine and stabilizing the quality of the paper produced.
Application Three
In the waste paper papermaking system, due to the presence of natural resins and externally added sizing agents, enhancers, coating adhesives, and synthetic resins, SC-1600, which has the function of emulsifying, dispersing, and fixing hydrophobic substances, also has good resin barrier control in the waste paper papermaking system. The general addition amount is 0.5~1.0kg/t of paper, which not only extends the cleaning cycle of the paper machine but also significantly reduces resin spots on the surface of the paper, enhancing the cleanliness of the paper's appearance.
